On Day #1 you will play regular pool play.  The Home Depot Center venue is different from most.  It is located in the Veledrome.  The girls and coaches are the only people that are allowed on the courts. The courts are below the bike track, and there is stadium seating above for the parents.  You can bring in outside food at this site.  You will set up inside.  Bring blanket, and chairs for a campsite inside.  There is no food available, so bring your own.  ice chests are ok to bring in.  You should arrive early to find local parking.  Many times at the veledrome there are bike races  going on at the same time.  If so the announcers are loud, and I like to have ear plugs with me. I would also suggest to dress in layers.  Sometimes the heat is on very high, and if you dress too warm you will want to be able to take a layer or two off.

DAY #2
SUNDAY MAY 20TH

Your location for Day #2 is based on where you placed on day #1.
1st & 2nd Place will be at American Sports Center on the i courts.
3rd & 4th Place will be at Cypress College.

Some families commute daily, and others stay in hotels.  This is up to the individual Families.
For day #2 you will be playing regular pool play, and then playoffs.  Playoffs will start when all 4 i courts are completed playing and then the playoffs will start. The playoffs will be 1st vs 3rd and 2nd vs 4th.  This will be all the teams in  Flight #1.  Please plan to be there until 6 pm.  You may be done earlier than 6, but it can possibly go that long.

This is your final tournament of the season. There will not be any practice after this weekend.  They girls are welcome to continue to come to Jump Training on Tuesday and Thursdays from 8-9 pm.  Jump Training will continue thru June 21st.  We are also having our Club Dinner on Saturday June 16th.  Invitations should be going out next week.

American Sports Center (ASC) has increased to 34 volleyball Courts. We are playing on  one of the iCourt . You will meet your team at Court i? at 7:15 Am.   They have bleachers by every court.  What I understand is that there are locations in ASC where it is very cold, and other hot, so I would suggest dressing in layers.  Be prepared for everything (except Snow :) With the new changes you will not be able to set up camps outside of ASC.  New seating in the two food areas in combination with the new pavilion seating area will provide ample gathering space between games. The new 10,000 square foot Sidelines Grill located in the rear of the facility now features freshly grilled sandwiches, salads, pizza, rice bowls, fruit bowls, French fries, chicken wings, chicken tenders and more of your favorites.  The front smoothie bar, now Sidelines Cafe will be upgraded to a 4,000 square foot delicatessen featuring specialty coffees, smoothies and a complete food menu. Seating for 100 is available in the café.  In addition, a seating pavilion with large tables and 700 chairs will replace the former F row of courts. As a result, camping in the facility will not be permitted. You cannot bring in outside food or Coolers in this facility. THEY HAVE BEEN CHECKING PARENTS BAGS AT THE DOOR. Some one on the team should arrive early and reserve a table or 2 on the old F Court.  The tables are  6' round. you will need something to put on the tables to save them.  During the last tournament if there is no one sitting at the table they will remove your things and have the table open for others to use.  To purchase food it is a very long wait.
There is a pro shop that you can purchase Volleyball items.  There is an admission charged to parents at a rate of $6.00 for Adult Spectators and $4.00 for Senior citizen (65 & older) . PLEASE READ THE ATTACHMENT ABOUT PARKING.  THERE ARE CHANGES THIS YEAR.  They have just opened a new parking lot walking distance to ASC. Do not jay walk YOU WILL BE TICKETED.  Do not park in a private business parking lots.  You will be towed and it will cost $350 to get your car back.
